Tour Plans

Day 1

Windhoek – Namib Desert ( L )

Guests will be collected from your lodge in Windhoek at approximately 12h00. Your journey to the Namib Naukluft Park begins via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass (one of Namibia’s steepest and most scenic of it’s kind). A refreshment stop at the small settlement of Solitaire follows (famous for its apple pie!) before heading on to the Lodge/Camp. The authentic desert atmosphere en-route is considered as just one of the many highlights this short trip has to offer. The Camp itself sits at the foot of a red sandstone cliff, which consists of the fossilized dunes of an ancient Namib.

Day 2

Sossusvlei (B-D-L)

An early morning departure is essential. The opportunity to climb some of the highest sand dunes in the world nears. The views from the largest, Big Mama as it is known to the locals, is well worth the effort. Ancient camelthorn trees sit is at the foot of Big Mama at Dead Vlei, one of Sossusvlei’s most photographed areas. Continue your tour to explore the rugged Sesriem Canyon, before returning to the lodge. The day ends with a spectacular Namibian sunset on the afternoon sundowner dune drive in the stunning Gondwana Namib Park.

Day 3

Namib Desert – Windhoek( B )

After breakfast it’s time to pack your bags and board your transport for the trip back to Namibia’s capital city. On the way back you will travel via the Remshoogte Pass, an alternative but just as scenic route. Arrival time at Windhoek is around 12h30. This allows for enough time in the afternoon to unpack, get a bite to eat, shop and prepare for your next excursion or onward journey.
