Who is Violette Mureko Rebublikein Interview

  1. Who is Violette Mureko – what makes you smile, what gives you hope, what makes your days worthwhile?

Violette is a Life Coach in the areas of mindfulness and Spirituality. I am a strong proponent of a purpose driven life. What makes me smile is the blessing of yet another beautiful day! And what gives me hope is seeing my clients transformed and empowered to change their lives. My gift of servanthood gives me hope because I always operate in my purpose as a Life Coach.

I seek to instinctively unite, love and nurture the people back to wholeness. Of myself I am not much but through my existence many will come to understand that to live is to love. Receiving and giving love rest at the core of our human existence.

Mine is an extension of a part of who I am in the form of love to my fellow human being through Life Coaching. There exist a myriad of brokenness, hate, war, selfishness, and murder in our world and my role is to redirect our minds to lighter, brighter and the most authentic understanding of ourselves by altering our character, mindset and behavior to live a fulfilled life amidst trials and tribulations. This is solely because a life of fulfillment and wholeness is possible to each and every individual who dare to believe.

  1. You are a certified life coach – what made you decide on this journey, please share how it started, what made you decide that this is what you want to fill your life with?

In 2014, I woke up with sadness and a heavy heart upon realizing that I wasn’t happy with the way I lived my life. I knew deep down that I was an exceptional human being but unfortunately, I lived a life featuring mediocrity. These disparities kept me awake at night. I was nowhere near my desired goals. I worked an 8-5 job that sucked the life out of me. My mornings were adorned by past regrets that spiraled down into dissatisfaction. A penny dropped for me when I read this quote, “Everything in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, make a different choice.”

It was there and then that I decided to start a journey that dived deeper into understanding myself and the choices that sabotaged my success in life. I made new choices that allowed me the opportunity to start honoring myself with wholeness, authenticity, vulnerability while embracing my fears gradually. It was a hard, painful and scary process of letting go a part of who I identified myself to be and making a commitment to this newly affirmed character.

To me transformation wasn’t an overnight process but a prolonged sojourn that required losing and winning old and new parts of myself that I somehow never knew existed. The one moment you’re resisting change because it feels uncomfortable and unfamiliar the next you embrace change because there in lies the key to your mental emancipation.

I went on a lengthy self-discovery journey that let me to graduating as a life Coach/Mentor in 2020 during the hardest times in the world as covid showed its claws upon humanity. It was a trying time as I both had to journey deeper within myself at the same time, questioning the world’s capability to survive as a human race amidst a global pandemic. It was those tough times that led me understand myself distinctly and to make time to intentionally understand the next person’s journey.

Life-Coaching to me is not a career, it is a calling. Life Coaching is intrinsic and an act of altruism. It has changed the way I perceive myself; it has instilled in me a confidence that come from a source greater than my being and it has given me the power to plug out mediocrity and limiting believes that almost drowned me into nothingness. Now I live a life an empowered life full of gratitude and peace of mind.

3. To coach someone for life is so broad – what does it mean to you and for the person who decides to get a life coach?

My Life coaching focus is primarily on 3 pillars – Mind, Body and Spirit. I focus on creating a space where people realize their limiting believes and intentionally carve an actionable plan to improve their current situations by changing their believes, behavior and character.

Predominantly we are a result of our previous and past experiences and if unaltered we walk around the earth with false believes about our true identity and misconceptions of who we are based on what society believes us to be. We have no sense of the self and are evidently carbon copies of those who speaks the loudest in our lives.

My work as a Coach is to navigate oneself to their true North, to unblock believes that are holding you back and re-program your mind to true wholeness and fulfillment in life.

4. Do you feel that people are more and more inclined to approach you for guidance and advice? Does it feel, especially after Covid and the uncertainty and in many case pain it caused, that people now seem more ‘lost’, but on the other hand also more inclined to change their lives’ direction into a more meaningful one?

As human beings we were programmed from an early stage not ask for help or it was coined embarrassing to share lives hardships with others. And so we are more accustomed to bottling it all up in the hope that It will disappear and that one day all shall be well. Which to some extend bears some truths but to a much greater degree it’s an emotionally disruptive maze that never seem to end. It permeates all facets of our life and eventually takes on a character that sabotages our success in relationships with self and others. It also leads to an incongruency between our hearts desires and our actions to reach those desires.

Through my work I have discovered that there is a huge need for people to open up and share their lives pain, troubles and I agree that this shouldn’t be just with anybody. What I have observed especially with my clients is that people approach me on multiple occasions mostly because they feel that there is no way out of their situation. And most of them are attracted to me because of how I am living my life, how I interact with my world with grace, love and a keen ear to hear out the cry of humanity. I live my life as an example to others in the hope that they too would experience the transformation that is available to all of us through grace.

The emotional distress, troubles in relationships, unhappiness to mention just a few has quadrupled over the years more so after covid. The boost can be attributed to the fact that trust, faith and love has been replaced by doubt, fame, greed and Hate. People who value each other’s opinions are rare and people who care about the edification of the soul are close to non-existent. We are controlled by fear of the past, fear of the future to an extend that our own lives pass us by. And this is the most distressful scenario any person would want to be in.

In my practice, I coach from a place of love and humility. I create spaces where people can become deliberate about creating a life they desire. Full of purpose, passion and an appreciation for simplicity, forgiveness and connection. Which are the fundamental pillars that governs our existence.

5. If you could share your wisdom and advise for someone who feel lost and want a more meaningful life, what would that be?

I have always carried this idea that life is a fictional play that at some point we will wake up and realize that the most important experience we have is the present moment. Fortunately for us we have total control over the present hour and the present breath. The rest is completely out of our sphere of influence and therefore must be disregarded at least for now. In lives difficulties we must learn to refocus our attention on the current breath, to allow silence to take us back to homeostasis. When we are still and focused on what we can control we life slows down and we hold on to faith as opposed to fear.

When we start narrating our experiences, traumas and lives trials – moment by moment it becomes way easier to start devising a plan of how we can slowly bring ourselves to wholeness. Once we break down our current issue, piece by piece until it becomes tiny single entities then we freely reach deep within our souls to find the tools and puzzles that already exists inside of us to heal and take care of our situation. It is a slow process but as we get closer to our core by understanding ourselves first, consequently understanding the world outside of us become an easier and manageable task. All by faith, persistence and obedience to our true North.

The solution lies first in the search for self, i.e. who am I and why do I do what do the way I do it? Is it serving me? am I operating in my purpose? How is my spiritual journey? When inside wisdom is well anchored the outside has the potency to resolve itself.

6. What dreams, goals do you have for yourself?

My dream is to build a life Coaching Centre that restores a client’s heart from brokenness to wholeness. A community of people who understand that vulnerability and authenticity open us up for growth and wholeness is vital. What I love the most is seeing my clients transformed and empowered to change their lives for the better. My goal then is to assist clients with self-damaging behaviors and limiting believes, to achieve wholeness by recognizing, replacing and readjusting old behaviors with new patterns that boosts their self-confidence and gives them the ability to focus and achieve on their goals lovingly.

7. What is the motto you live by?

Feed the mind, body and spirit with positivity and faith then watch it transform your external life in unimaginable ways. Don’t try to be perfect, just be an excellent example of being human.

8. The Violette before you started your journey with empowering others and the Violet of today – do you feel your life now has more meaning, did you learn more about yourself and also from those you guided on their journeys?

Absolutely, yes. The two Violette’s are totally different now…shuuuu!

Life Coaching has given me smooth confidence to live my life on my own terms. From allowing myself to be uncomfortable to meeting people that pushed me totally out of my limiting believes, it has been one scary but amazingly rewarding experience for me. In the past I never used to laugh at my mistakes but now I make mistakes, laugh at myself and improve on them because I know that I am the only competition I have. I live life fully; I take the opportunity to learn from my mistakes. I decided to amake self-care an important priority in my life which has given me peace of mind and confidence. Life coaching has impacted my whole approach to life by instilling in me the ability to set clear focused goals, intentionality of purpose and time management.

I wake up every morning fulfilled and looking forward to transforming and serving others with a strong mind, skillful hands and a soft heart. The human mind is an extra-ordinary tool that if used well can alter the direction of many people’s lives. Now I am not afraid to handle adversities because I have developed resilience and self-reliance. I am fearfully and wonderfully made by a Father who cares deeply for my needs and wants therefore I operate with a strong believe in Him. And life has been manageable while not easy.

I am at peace.
