Enjoy one of Namibia's most iconic landscapes. Depart from the country's capital en route to Sossusvlei, a part of the Namib Desert that's home to some of the world's largest sand dunes. View these spectacular orange and red formations at dawn, then spend a day exploring more of the conservation area including its large salt pan and Dune 45, said to be the planet's most photographed sand dune.

Day 1Clients depart from Windhoek to Sossusvlei early morning.

Pick Up time is between 08:00 and 08:30 from anywhere within Windhoek. First we pass over the Eros Mountains and then the Khomas Hochland Range. After the mountains we drop down from the central Namibian plateau to grassy desert savannah. After arrival at the lodge clients get to enjoy a sun-downer drive.

Day 3

Early start and back to civilisation on scenic roads through the Khomas Hochland Mountain Range. We will arrive back in the city in the afternoon and you will be dropped off at your accommodation on our return.

Day 2

After an early breakfast we go on an excursion to Sossusvlei with sand dunes along both sides of the road. We will stop at the famous Dune 45. Those who feel fit may climb the dune and get a breathtaking view of the surrounding Namibian desert. We travel into the heart of the Namib Desert with the highest sand dunes on Earth at Sossusvlei. Experience the majestic yet tranquil Sossusvlei or the surreal Dead Vlei on foot. We enjoy a picnic lunch under the camel-thorn trees, before traveling back to our lodge via the gaping Sesriem Canyon.
