Itinerary
Day 1: Windhoek – Okaukuejo, Etosha National Park
(450Km – Accommodation: Okaukeujo Resort or Similar)
Pick up from your hotel or lodge at 8am to allow us to depart at 9.00am. Herded to the north we will have our lovely lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo.
You will reach your destination, entering the south side of Etosha through Anderson Gate and arrive in Okaukuejo Resort in the afternoon. After checking in and settling into your rooms, you will have time to explore the surroundings, enjoy a dip in the swimming pool and then take off on a late afternoon game drive. During your game drive through the National park you can look forward in seeing the best of Namibia’s wildlife: elephants, rhino, zebras, various game (oryx, kudu, wildebeest, impala, springbok, gemsbok) giraffes, hyenas and big cats of Africa: lion, leopard and cheetah inhabiting the enormous grasslands.
You will return to the lodge for dinner and before you turn in for the night, enjoy a visit to the floodlit waterhole is strongly recommended, as there are good chances to see rhino and lion who come to drink.

Day 2: Okaukuejo to Namutoni, Etosha National Park (Inside the Park)

After breakfast you will check-out and we will depart to Namutoni Rest Camp. During our game drive we will stop at Halali middle camp for lunch. Thereafter we will check in at Namutoni rest camp we can enjoy the blissful scenery at the waterhole or relax at the swimming pool, before departure on a late afternoon game drive. During your game drive you will come across various animals as Etosha National Park is home to four of the big five game animals (only water buffaloes absent) giving you a whole new unforgettable experience and a true African Adventure. In the evening we may enjoy a glass of wine and experience a fabulous sunset from the tower of the old Namibian German fort before dinner.

Day 3: Namutoni – Swakopmund

After breakfast we begin our journey through the seemingly endless scenery of Swakopmund, Namibia’s most favored holiday resort, which offers many different interesting possibilities to relax and a magnitude of activities can be organized for you, e.g. countrywide scenic flights, boat trips, canoeing, Dune boarding, Quad biking, and many more.
After checking in at the guesthouse, you will have time to explore the surroundings before we have dinner at a local restaurant, included in this package.

Day 4: Swakopmund
(Atlantic Villa Guest house or similar)
Today is a free day. The idea is to allow time for everybody to do their own thing. Swakopmund is a very pleasant seaside town with lots of shops, a good stretch of beach (although the Atlantic here is quite cold) and an open-air curio market. There is also a very good museum and the Namibian National Marine Aquarium is located in Swakopmund. Alternatively, there are various optional activities that can be arranged. These include airplane and microlight flights over the desert, scenic drives, fishing trips (both from the beach or in a boat), four-wheel motorcycle (quad bike) trips into the desert and over the sand dunes around Swakopmund, sand boarding trips (also in the dunes), skydiving, surfing, bird-watching and many other activities are available. Your tour guide will discuss all the possible options with you before you reach Swakopmund and will offer to make bookings in advance of your arrival. Dinner today is not included in the cost of the safari and will be at the clients own expense.

Day 5: Swakopmund – Windhoek – 450Km
After breakfast we begin our journey back to Windhoek. We will stops in Okahandja to visit Namibia’s largest wood-carving market.
We are due back in Windhoek late afternoon / early evening and you will be dropped off at your accommodation on our return.
