Day 1
All Guests to be available at the latest at 11 AM (Or guests should arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport at 9AM or earlier) for collection at their hotels in Windhoek and a transfer to our offices for a travel briefing and an opportunity to get to know your vehicles a little better before departing our Adventure Travel program.
Our opening day is a relatively short one with a drive from our offices in Windhoek heading north to the Erindi Private Game Reserve and Old traders Lodge.
Upon arrival at the Lodge you will have a little time to settle into your room before departing on a Game drive drive in an open vehicle searching for some of Africa’s famous animals. Erindi is world renowned for its amazing game viewing, and this is your opportunity to view the majestic African Elephant relaxing under an acacia tree or see a Lion lazing in the late afternoon shade before heading out for the evening hunt.
Day 2
After breakfast your journey will take you out of Erindi private game reserve, and then you pass through some of the small rural villages and towns in this part of Namibia. This will also be your first taste of the long seemingly endless dusty roads that Namibia is famous for.
You will tackle some off road tracks near the Erongo mountains, famous for its balancing rocks, before your lunch stop near the Famous Spitzkoppe.
After lunch you will cross the Namib Desert and head for the skeleton coast at the town of Henties Bay. From Henties bay you head south, but not before you try your hand at some beach driving a purely exhilarating experience with the waves of the Atlantic ocean crashing down right beside you.
We finnish the days drive off with a stop at a shipwreck and our final stretch to Swakopmund and the Strand Hotel for the night.
Day 3
An exciting morning awaits as you will head into the sand dunes that surround Swakopmund, the sight of our Land Rovers traversing the dunes is something to behold, and with the capabilities of these vehicles in the sand truly come into their own. Your Land Rover Discovery will literally eat up the sand dunes and show why they are truly one of the worlds most remarkable off road vehicles.
Once your All New Discovery has been refuelled and tyres reinflated your drive for the afternoon will make its way back towards Windhoek and the Okapuka lodge for our final night together.
Day 4
Depending on your flight time, you will have the morning to relax and enjoy nature around you at this wonderful place. If time allows there will be a possibility to get some shopping done before your transfer to the Airport and your journey back home.
