We enter the Game Reserve at Marquee Gate or more commonly referred to as South Gate. Once we are in Moremi there are possibilities for some water crossings but we will definitely be faced with some thick sand driving. On our drive we will keep a lookout for the elusive Delta Lions, as well as Cape Buffalo, African Elephants and many other species. Binoculars and cameras should always be ready to hand.

The village is located just outside the northern entrance of the Moremi Reserve, which lies on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta. The area consists of sprawling grasslands, mopane and alluvial forests and flood plains covered with a blanket of blue and white-water lilies. After an enjoyable drive, we reach the Khwai concession area and our overnight location for the next two nights– an individual tented camp accommodation. Here we have the opportunity to experience the breath-taking nature of the region up close.
