Mwanakatwe Studio Architecture Inc.
The firm was established in 2014 and is a bonafide Namibian registered with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, with its Headquarters in Windhoek, Namibia. The firm is still in its infancy and as an emerging practice is slowly growing capacity to manage projects within specific sectors.
Our firm has acquired extensive experience in urban planning, designing and project management with specific core competencies in project finance and procurement, project, programme and portfolio management. Specifically, the Principal of the firm has been involved in the design and construction supervision of numerous projects involving, schools, hospitals, clinics, lodges, public institutions, housing, residential development and their ancillary infrastructure.
Meet Our FOUNDER
M.J. Mwanakatwe (founder)
Mr. Mwanakatwe has over fifteen years of post qualification experience involving feasibility studies, project management, architectural designs, planning and supervision of building works: industrial and commercial projects for private and parastatal developers; local authority and parastatal housing estates including health and educational Institutions.
With vast experience in the industry, Mr. Mwanakatwe has been privileged to lead multi disciplinary teams of Consultants comprising engineers, quantity surveyors, socio economists etc and has since acquired vast experience in the various forms of building Contracts in the above mentioned fields having worked for various firms both in Zambia, Zimbabwe and now Namibia.
The Principal Consultant of the firm has further executed a number of significant projects and feasibility studies in Zambia, Zimbabwe and in Namibia while working for several firms.
