We administer different kinds of immunizations and vaccinations, including, but not limited to the following:
Children’s immunizations :
We administer routine immunizations for children of all ages. Immunizations help children to build up antibodies that protect them from contracting certain diseases that may be deadly. Having your child immunized not only protects him or her from deadly diseases such as polio, tetanus, and diphtheria, among others, it also helps to keep other children safe by eliminating or greatly decreasing dangerous diseases that used to spread from child to child.
Travel vaccinations :
Medicity helps travelers to get destination-specific vaccines and medicines. Usually, traveling requirements are provided by the destination country or authority. Where necessary, you may discuss health concerns as well as your itinerary and planned activities with our doctors to allow us to give you more specific advice and recommendations.
Because some vaccines require multiple doses between intervals, it’s best to our practice as soon as possible to allow for the acquisition of the vaccines and for adequate planning of your trip. Some of the vaccines that can be arranged with us for traveling purposes include:
Yellow fever, Chickenpox, Cholera
Flu (Influenza), Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
Meningococcal, Pneumococcal, Polio
Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
Rabies, Shingles, Typhoid, Flu shots
HPV vaccinations :
This vaccine is aimed at preventing against contracting the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), a sexually transmitted viral infection that causes skin or mucous membrane growths (warts) and can cause cancer, including cervical cancer in women. There is no cure against HPV once contracted. The best choice is to get vaccinated to prevent getting the virus.
Flu shots :
We give flu shots to boost the immune system against common flus and colds. The shot protects you and those around you from the flu and its complications. Usually, it is advisable to get your flu shot before the beginning of a winter season.
